Students Pictured (L to R): David Vanderkin (Scholarship Winner), Madeline Keach (Achievement Award Winner), and Angelique Dambruch (Achievement Award Winner) - the winners of our 2018 Beaver Dam Women's Health Scholarship.

David Vanderkin

David is our 2018 scholarship winner and will receive a $4,000 award. He was delivered by our very own Dr. Ken Ostermann right here in Beaver Dam. Before high school, David was diagnosed with leukemia, and his firsthand experience with compassionate and caring nurses spurred his desire to help others. He longs to make a difference in a child’s life every day and is determined to dedicate his career to achieving his goal. In Fall 2018, he will pursue his passion in pediatric nursing with a dual enrollment program at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay and Bellin College.

Angelique Dambruch

Angelique is one of two achievement award winners. This fall, she will attend the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay to study psychology and Spanish. With her education, she hopes to uphold her core value of caring and make an impact in her field.

Madeline Keach

Madeline is another achievement award winner. She was delivered by our very own Certified Nurse-Midwife, Cindy Stippich, right here in Beaver Dam. Madeline is passionate about helping her community and has aspired to enter the healthcare field since junior high. This fall, she will attend the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and hopes to become a Radiation Therapist.
