Beaver Dam Women’s Health Joining Marshfield Clinic Health System

Beaver Dam, WI – February 22, 2021 – Beaver Dam Women’s Health (BDWH) today announced it will join the Marshfield Clinic Health System, expanding on the high-quality services offered at Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam. The transition will be final later this spring.

The entire BDWH team has signed on to stay with the practice, including the practice’s co-founder, Dr. Ken Ostermann. BDWH, which will change its name to Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam Women’s Health, will maintain many of the operations of its practice including its location inside the hospital campus.

The practitioners will continue to work out of the third floor of the Vita Park Medical Building, adjacent to Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam. BDWH offers comprehensive women’s health services, including obstetrics, certified nurse-midwifery, gynecology and minimally invasive surgery. Dr. Ostermann is also board certified in urogynecology.

Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam offers more than a dozen specialties to the community, including dermatology, cardiology, pulmonology, urology and more, with the intention that patients receive care from in-network specialty providers close to home.

This is an exciting time for the Beaver Dam Women’s Health team. This transition builds on the mission and commitment we made to the community more than 25 years ago, and allows us to expand our reach and extend our services to even more Beaver Dam residents,” said Dr. Ostermann. “We look forward to building upon the services Marshfield Medical Center-Beaver Dam offers our community, in particular the care and support for more women and their families throughout Dodge County.”

The staff at Beaver Dam Women’s Health stresses that the practice will continue to place a primary focus on caring for the women and families of the community.
