BEAVER DAM WOMEN’S HEALTH 2019 SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM ANNOUNCED

Scholarships will be awarded to one or more Beaver Dam-area high school seniors.

Beaver Dam, WI – February 11, 2019 Beaver Dam Women’s Health has announced its 2019 scholarship contest, which begins February 15th. Three Beaver Dam-area high school seniors will be selected to receive awards. One Scholarship Recipient winner will be eligible to win up to $4,000 ($1,000 each year) in scholarship funds, and two Achievement Award winners will each receive a $500 award.

The annual scholarship contest is open to high school seniors who live and attend a public or private high school within 15 miles of Beaver Dam, including the communities of Waupun, Columbus, and Horicon. Recipients can use the scholarship money for post-high school education, whether at a four-year college or technical school.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants complete a brief form and write a short essay describing their college plans and how they intend to use their education to make the world a better place. Full details and the application information is available on the Beaver Dam Women’s Health website or call the clinic at 920-885- 6090.

Dr. Ken Ostermann, the co-founder of Beaver Dam Women’s Health, shared the reason the scholarship contest is important to him and the practice. “Each year I am incredibly impressed with the talented applicants who enter our scholarship contest. It is important for us to not only provide outstanding care for women patients and residents in the greater Beaver Dam area, but also to support local young people who will be the productive and forward-thinking leaders of our future. All of us at Beaver Dam Women’s Health are thrilled to announce our annual scholarship contest once again.”

The deadline for applications to the clinic is April 15, 2019. Winner(s) will be announced in early May.
