Monthly events open to area women include a mix of healthy living, art, community support, culture, and social activity

Beaver Dam, WI – August 23, 2017 – The Dodge County Women’s Club has announced its event calendar for the 2017-18 season. La Mia Boutique Fashion Show is the first event that will take place September 14 at Old Hickory Golf Club in Beaver Dam.

Founded by Beaver Dam Women’s Health in 2011, Dodge County Women’s Club is a not-for-profit organization that is open to all area women at no charge. The group meets monthly on the second Thursday evening of each month, from September through June. Attendees enjoy a mix of special events and the opportunity to discuss interesting topics that affect women today.

Mary Ostermann is the co-founder of Beaver Dam Women’s Health and was instrumental in conceptualizing and founding the Dodge County Women’s Club. She explains, “All of us at Beaver Dam Women’s Health are passionate about women’s health, and we wanted to offer the opportunity for area women to connect and have fun together – that is how the idea for Dodge County Women’s Club was born. And a special thank you goes to co-sponsor American National Bank and the Bank’s Donna Oathout, who helps develop the programs.”

“The Club allows women to socialize, network, and discuss a wide variety of interesting topics,” Ostermann continued. “We like to plan fun, special, and unique activities each month during our programming season and encourage all women in the greater Beaver Dam area to come check us out – our doors are open!”
